I teach students botanical concepts through prepared labs. Also, I quiz students on those same concepts. These students are attending Tennessee Tech that are taking botany with a required lab.

I work here along with a full time school schedule at Tennessee Technological University.

I work seasonally during spring and summer at Uncle Lems in the Pigeon Forge location.

The park I worked at was Cummins Falls State Park. I worked there the summer of 2020 and also the summer of 2022.Weekly, I would lead groups of guests on “Programs” in which I would teach them about many subjects ranging from natural sciences to history to energy efficiency. One of my major interests is plant life and I was often seen as the guy to go to for related subjects. I would often treat invasive plant species with herbicides or perform minor maintenance on vehicles and trails. When the time came for medical requirements and emergencies, I would use my experience and training to treat them. If it required more than minor treatment, I would assist in getting that person to a safe place to be treated by specialists.

I worked at this job during high school obtaining close to full time hours during the semester and full time hours during summers and winters.
