Following my summer Sales and Marketing internship for TLHA, I was given the opportunity to continue my employment as a Customer Service Representative for WellHaven Senior Living, which is a campus in association with TLHA that just so happened to be in River Falls, WI the exact town where I was attending University.This position consisted of me becoming the sole administration member that would be present on campus during the weekends. During this time it was one of my duties to maintain the building's secure nature by monitoring the phone and door to communicate with anyone that would be coming and going through the campus.Additionally, I would assist the on-campus CNAs with a variety of day-to-day tasks including serving lunch, helping residence with any chores or requests they have, and even in times of emergencies to contact and work with paramedics to reach residents whose health may be at risk.COVID-19 PANDEMIC:My position changed and grew a lot for the duration of the COVID-19 Pandemic in a lot of ways, I truly became a jack of all trades in many areas with the innate goal of keeping WellHaven Residents safe, healthy, and my personal preference happy.During the COVID-19 pandemic campus life really changed as residents soon became isolated in their rooms unable to access their mail, communal living/dining, and tragically their family.As life and culture started shifting to a digital space, I soon started assisting residents in many technological ways including setting them up with tablets for reasons like streaming mass or visiting with family members over zoom calls.In addition to this communicating with family members to drop off care packages of goods like groceries became a normal occurrence as well as setting up "Window Visits" for these families to at least feel some sort of connection to their loved ones.

The Lutheran Home Association is a company residing in the industry of Senior Care, owning and maintaining several senior living campuses across Minnesota and Wisconsin whose mission is to share Christ’s love as we serve the spiritual, physical, intellectual, and emotional needs of people entrusted to our care and others whose lives we touch.It was within this company that I was hired on as a Sales and Marketing Intern whose role included responsibilities such as designing and scheduling marketing material in the form of digital promotions, newsletters, email lists, and Facebook/Instagram advertisements.In addition to creating a myriad of marketing material, I would also in turn perform various analytical reports and return on investment statements.When not assisting in the company's marketing efforts, event planning was also a major part of the role in the form of residential event logistics. Music on the lawn, coffee meetups, and other social events that we would host for our senior residence were just some of the things that I frequently interacted with and managed for the duration of my internship.

For the duration of this position, I was working as a Social Media and Events Intern for the University of Wisconsin - River Falls Wisconsin's Office of Student Involvement, a branch of the university whose mission is to foster student success through inclusive and empowering experiences designed to promote engaged citizenship and self-authorship.Within this role, I was tasked with producing content in the form of graphics and videos for Instagram and Snapchat to promote campus events, student resources, and important campus news for the student body. The F.R.I.E.N.D.S. UWRF Edition team was a group of select students who were assembled with the intended purpose of the production and delivery of informational, engaging, and digestible information for incoming students during the Covid-19 Pandemic.In this position, my main responsibilities included my role as the acting Video Editor for the F.R.I.E.N.D.S. episodes where I was provided the raw footage to clip together and insert additional effects and editing. In addition to this, another aspect of the role included social media management, mainly the creation of the social media campaign schedule (Instagram and YouTube) and video posting content during the designated time.

Throughout the school day, my focus and objectives revolved around hitting learning objectives, keeping the focus on tasks at hand, and using previous CPI training/certification to de-escalate potential hostile situations that the student may be presenting.
