I'm Dr. Jonah Procyk, a research scientist with a diverse background in chemistry, machine learning, experimental design, and data analysis. My expertise lies in pioneering deep learning techniques, which I've applied to deliver groundbreaking solutions in the CBRNE (Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear, and Explosive) domain. As an early career scientist, I have fostered relationships with academic partners and authored multiple successful SBIR proposals.At Novateur, I serve as the principal investigator for a Phase II DHS SBIR. Here, I focus on developing advanced deep learning models for chemical and biological threat detection. These models not only predict chemical functionality but also deduce the structures of entirely unknown chemicals in real time using a blend of traditional spectrometry methods. Our patented technology ensures our solution is at the forefront of security innovation.I also played a pivotal role in a DTRA-funded project where I led the development of an integrated software package for the identification of standard and ad-hoc laboratory equipment. Our tool seamlessly combined computer vision and probabilistic models to correctly predict if a laboratory was being utilized for a nefarious purpose.
