I worked as a Product Strategist on a team of five student apprentices as a part of the CMU SCS MHCI Capstone. In this role, I focused on mechanisms for utilizing Agentic AI products and services in order to improve interactions between consumers and product companies that would lead to improved outcomes for consumers, as well as provide growth opportunities for Consumer Reports as a social enterprise.

Started an LLC as an entrepreneurial learning experience. Provided marketing services to entrepreneurs and self-employed individuals in professional service industries. Learned the ropes of entrepreneurship in between graduating from University of Michigan in December 2018 and beginning my role at CRD in July 2019. Took on a variety of roles as a wealth management intern at Michigan Lifetime Financial Growth, a subsidiary of Guardian Life. Attained valuable client relations, asset management and analysis skills as well as a strong foundational understanding of life, disability and health insurance provision as a licensed producer in the state of Michigan. Tasks included online academic training assignments, developing a compliance-approved marketing plan for an advisor's disability insurance business, reviewing employee benefits packages at a variety of institutions and participating in firm wide product and sales training.

Worked as a part-time congressional fall intern for the district office of Congresswoman Debbie Dingell (D-MI) while attending classes full time as a student. Office and community based tasks varied day-to-day, based on the needs of the 12th District and on current local and national events. Eventually transitioned over to the campaign side of the office, gaining valuable hands on experience in constituent outreach and developing a more wholesome understanding of the legislative, secretarial and campaign elements of a congressional office.

Gained familiarity with the tech industry by briefly interning full-time for a Metro-Detroit based tech startup specializing in accounting software. Served the United States’ Department of State’s diplomatic mission to the United Nations under the newly appointed Ambassador and former Governor of South Carolina, Nikki Haley and staff. Worked specifically in the UN’s Economic and Social Council which seeks to conduct analysis, agree on global norms, advance US economic and development policy and advocate collective solutions for the advancement of global sustainable development. Responsible for transcribing UN General Assembly speeches given by foreign leaders, assisting US diplomats and ambassadors in council session and was entrusted with full secret security clearance to review, analyze and annotate classified diplomatic documents.
