New responsibilities/skills developed in this role:Managing projects designed to cut expenses and increase efficiency of company workflow. These include shipping and energy costs, facilitating pricing reviews, and data analysis.Meeting with external company reps regarding in-progress projects.Creating and sending company memos delineating new processes.Generate data reports on new processes.Provide the necessary oversight to implement new processes and to refine current ones.Oversee the implementation of new online stores for clients, ensuring each step of the production line is prepared to receive new orders.Coordinate with salespersons, production manager, CEO, COO, and purchasing agents to ensure the production remains on-schedule and all necessary information and garments are with the appropriate departments.Take on new projects as assigned.Significant advances in my knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Office Suite.Skills refined from last role:Reclaiming silk screens used for printing, including ink and emulsion removal.Maintained production schedule using Excel. Communicated with embroidery/screen print art and production leads to refine and update as jobs change status and are completed.Purchased garments through vendors online for online and call-in orders.Fully handle all receiving and inbound quality control. Distribute paperwork to the appropriate departments.Gained experience using Ordoro and FedEx Ship Manager to generate packing labels for individual parcels, multiweight shipments, and multi-package integrations.Assisted in production and order fulfillment as necessary.Maintained a clean workspace for all workers, including cleaning, untaping, and scraping screens and press parts clean of ink. Gained minimal knowledge of manual and E- and S-style automatic screen printing presses, dryers, flashes, and embroidery machines. Reported to salesmen, administrative assistants, and CEO/COO to maintain flow of information.
