My responsibilities included: • Chairing FSOC Deputies Committee, which meets bi-weekly and manages staff work for all FSOC work streams. • Briefing Treasury Secretary on all FSOC-related matters. • Leading 12-member staff team that supports FSOC Chairman and serves as FSOC secretariat. • Developing priorities for research and analysis, coordinate strategy for executing on those priorities, and collaborate with 14 other FSOC member agencies to deliver. • Leading interagency hedge fund working group analysis of risks related to use of leverage by hedge funds. • Presenting staff analysis and staff recommendations to FSOC principals in closed and public meetings. • Representing FSOC and Treasury in public speaking engagements. • Coordinating stakeholder engagement and public affairs/legislative strategies to communicate key FSOC initiatives and promote transparency.

Office of Domestic Finance advises Treasury Secretary on all domestic financial institution and financial markets policy. My responsibilities included:• Principal advisor to Under Secretary for Domestic Finance Mary Miller, and Counselor Antonio Weiss, on financial regulatory and capital markets policy, including implementation of the Dodd-Frank Act and JOBS Act, financial market regulation, and emerging financial technology issues. • Managed Treasury engagement in comprehensive interagency review of Treasury market structure, resulting in first-ever regulatory reporting of Treasury cash market transaction data and modernization of regulatory requirements in Treasury market.• Led Treasury-wide working group on market structure, monitoring market developments, developing original analysis, and briefing senior Treasury officials.• Drafted speeches, op-eds, and Congressional testimony. Regularly briefed senior Treasury staff, including the Secretary, and Congressional staff. • Advised on debt management policy and participated in Treasury Borrowing Advisory Committee meetings. • Represented Treasury Department in Deputies-level interagency policy development, including policy to encourage long-term thinking in corporate decision-making, and fiduciary duty rule for investment advisors.
