Engineered an image processing pipeline for the Rashid 2 lunar rover’s Passive Regolith Sampler Experiment using Python (OpenCV, SciPy).Applied Principal Component Analysis for dimensionality reduction and trained a Gaussian Naive Bayes classifier, achieving 98% accuracy in pixel-level classification of critical features.Focused on detecting corner points and extracting RGB values, contributing to advancements in space exploration technologies.

Developed STARFISH, a soft robotic system for space inspection, powered by Shape Memory Alloy (SMA) coils.Optimized limb designs to enhance force output, range of motion, and mobility, achieving over 90° of movement and a 5x improvement in efficiency compared to earlier iterations.

Founded Polytechnic School Engineering Club in 2021. Competed in the 2023 Solar Car Challenge. Was one of the four drivers that drove in our custom-built Solar Car. Led in both the electrical and mechanical teams. Won 2nd Place in the Classic Division

Worked as a TA at PolySummer. Taught 3 Robotics classes for grades 2-8 and 2 math classes for grades 2-4. Assembled computers for and helped lead a Space Engineers class. Space Engineers helped kids understand the concepts behind building space-fairing vehicles through a video game.

Worked in the Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering department at UCLA. Used Python and Jupyter Notebook to create a program and GUI that monitors thermocouple readings from an NI-DAQ. Created a test stand with servo motors and coded in Arduino and Labview.

Created programs through Jupyter Notebook and Python that simulated hypotheses on how the Galilean Moons of Jupiter formed.

Bridged the gap between students and teacher in my temple’s Sunday School program by keeping the students engaged in their learning.
