Im a Mechanical Fitter with over 15 years experience.I gained most of my mechanical knowledge from working at a large paper supply factory in Melbourne where we had a variety of large shutdowns and daily preventative maintenance. We maintained and repaired both heavy mill equipment and FMCG machinery.In 2017 i obtained my IRATA rope access ticket and took off around Australia.I gained a variety of knowledge over many different areas, mainly throughout the mining and wind industries but also a bit of industrial city work My last role as a rope access tech had me conducting repairs to wind turbines for Vestas/Senvion.Since covid hit, i have been looking for more stable work and have been enjoying working in the food and beverage industry learning a whole new side to maintenance and learning the procedures regarding food hygiene. In time i would love to undertake and complete an electrical apprenticeship to learn the other side of the maintenance industry and make me a more well rounded tradesman.
