Adaptability. There is something to the phrase "starving artist"- but to me it refers to this hunger to do art; to get acting jobs that allow me to be an artist AND still pay my bills. I am starving to be a working artist, but the reality is that most of the time I won't be. So how do I remain an actor while not acting? I take the 10 years of experience I have in the acting world and apply it countless fields that all value creative solutions, quick thinking, outgoing communication skills, and the ability to constantly adapt to the task or situation at hand. Making art in this country is a luxury, and I hope to afford myself that luxury by adapting to any job in front of me and doing it with precision, hard work, and passion - so that I can afford to keep doing my passions. I am grateful to be a working actor currently, but will always have to supplement my income to account for the times when I'm not on a show.
