I lead a team of talented professionals working to engage every Jewish Gator at the University of Florida. I collaborate with our board of directors and other stakeholders to set UF Hillel’s strategic vision, develop human and financial resources, and model for students an enduring commitment to Jewish life, learning and Israel.

As a teacher, pastoral counselor, worship leader, mentor, and community organizer, I helped lead a congregation of 1,650-member families, serving the diverse needs of members of all ages and backgrounds.

As youth director, educator, program organizer, worship leader, and technology specialist, I helped lead a vibrant 550 household congregation. Significant accomplishments included creating a teen philanthropy program that doubled post-B’nai Mitzvah retention, developing new opportunities for teen engagement, and initiating a new internet and social media presence that enabled the congregation to more effectively communicate with current and prospective members.

I helped lead the renaissance of Jewish life at University of Virginia, serving as a community organizer, Jewish educator, mentor, leadership development coach, and fundraiser, transforming UVA Hillel into a national model for student engagement. This included initiating a relationship-based model, which increased the number of students engaged in Jewish life from a handful to several hundred on a campus with only 1,000 Jewish undergraduates.
