Proprietary company, specializing in any kind of storage product you can think of. I don't think there is a manufacturing company, hospital, or home for that matter, that doesn't use AKRO Bins, or Keep Boxes for managing their storage needs.I have subsequently been in 100's of manufacturing facilities over the years, and the Myers-Wadsworth facility is one of the best run, best maintained facilities in the country. They somehow, instill an attitude of respect for the equipment, the building, and its people that I have seen in very few places. They accomplished this "attitude of respect" by managing it's people as adults (emphasis was on ideas, not strict adherence to rules and regulations for their factory personnel) and mining their minds. Myers understands very well that the next great thought can come from the floor just as readily as from the office.
