I was an unathletic, overweight “momma’s boy” with a learning disability. Spent my school days in the resource room for kids with special needs. My low self-esteem and eating disorder made me an easy target for bullies, both at school and in my neighborhood.After school, I often sat on the couch watching superheroes and looking for comfort in ice cream. But after a series of humiliating moments, I decided to take control of my life.I started lifting weights with one clear goal: to change my situation. What began as a struggle turned into my passion. I quickly realized that my work ethic and determination were unmatched, and for the first time, I found where I truly belonged.As I grew stronger, so did my confidence. I began to believe that my dreams were possible.Two decades later, that drive led me to the international stage as a professional strongman, where I earned the title of North America’s Strongest Man. I didn’t stop there—I also became a professional bodybuilder, earning my pro-card in two consecutive IFBB shows, a rare achievement.Now, at 52, I’m still going strong.Today, my focus is on helping others create real change in their lives.I use the same grit and perseverance that fueled my athletic career to help people transform their mindset and lifestyle.
