I'm Chief Executive of Tiny Tickers, a fabulous national charity working hard to improve early detection rates and treatment of babies born with congenital heart defects. I was shortlisted for the Rising CEO Star award at the Charity Times Awards 2017.

I was one of the founders of Zip Media, a social enterprise set up to offer top notch, low cost media and communications services to charities, not-for-profits and voluntary groups.

I had a range of journalistic and leadership roles across the Press Association and Press Association Sport over 14 years with the UK's national news and sport agency. I sat on the operational boards of both businesses, and was a Trustee of the company's pension fund. Management roles included being Northern Editor; leading the company's newspaper and magazine design and sub-editing department; managing the sports results and data operation; and running the TV and event listings operation - an arm of the business with £3.5m+ annual turnover and more than 200 staff in two countries.
