The unit serves as the national contact point of the European Migration Network (EMN). During my extended internship, I contributed to studies and policy briefs on innovative approaches on regular labour migration, integration of migrant women, return migration and others and was involved in event and conference organisation and administrative tasks. Besides my focus on research, I was engaged in communication activities of the EMN and the country office.

As a freelancer, I translated the private correspondence of a young Jewish man from Bavaria, covering his last two years (1937-1938) in Munich before being forced to flee from Nazi Germany. The project was privately commissioned, I translated from German to English.
