    Responsible for operations, dam safety, water management, permits and more for 100 water reservoirs and dam facilities in five of Sweden’s ten large scale developed hydro power rivers. The water storage capacity is equivalent to 16 TWh of electricity and about half of Swedens hydro power is produced in the rivers. The Water Regulation Companies are owned by the hydro power producers in each river and the task is to take care of issues of common interest for all power producers. The management of the water reservoirs for power production and of the dam facilities necessary for this are the most important tasks.The organization has 30 employees and annual OPEX of approx. MSEK 250 and CAPEX of MSEK 50-150. In addition to this also chairman of Swedenergy’s (Sweden´s trade association of power producers) working group for hydro power.
