My job included helping (mostly first-year) students with their Scala programming assignments in Finnish and Swedish and also giving feedback for some exercises. This mainly included computers (mainly Linux but also some Windows computers), servers (Linux), printers, webpages and mailing lists.I also managed the flow of information to members and published several magazines.

Global Logistics Services

I developed QlikView documents according to user specifications and helped the migration from Excel to QlikView for BI reports as part of an international team.I used QlikView to create warehouse and delivery reports. I also did routine reports using MS Access and Excel and helped team members with problems related to Visual Basic.

I supported the early use of QlikView for Business Intelligence purposes by Wärtsilä Global Logistics Services. I designed and developed various key performance reports according to specified requirements. I extracted data from the SAP SD module, used QlikView's scripting capabilities to format and import the data, created data connections between tables, wrote the formulas necessary for the various reports and decided on the layout for the documents.
