Project Background: Eglinton Crosstown Light Rail Transit (aka Crosstown) is the biggest transit project in Toronto with an estimated cost of CA$5.3B. It has 25 stations with 19km of rail corridor. One of the stops is at North York, intersection of Dufferin St and Eglinton Ave west named Fairbank station. Once completed it will have 2 entrances, a platform and a service building.Current Responsibility- Supervision of piling contractor ensuring approved schedule is followed and maximizing productivity of resources- Logistics support to on-going activities not limited to concrete, haul trucks, hydro-vac trucks, caisson and steel beam orders- Preparation of piling reports reflecting actual productivity against plan- Coordinate piling activity with other trades to avoid conflicts in operation and prioritize activity in critical path- Maintain trades deficiency list which includes operational issues and delay. This will be kept as future reference in event of contractual/commercial disputes- Work closely with quality coordinator to comply to Inspection and Testing plans (ITPs)- Identify possible issues to piling prior to actual execution reducing stand-by time of contractors

Project Back ground:A mixed development comprised of two Basement parking and 4 levels commercial space and 11 levels condominium. -Construction site in-charge, responsible with site supervision and coordination of activities -Initiate inspections with trades and consultant/inspectors to ensure the works are following approved drawings and specifications-Record issues/changes made on site and propose solutions while making sure that the changes are reflected in the as-built drawing-Discuss with the Project Manager in the preparation of construction schedules -Leads project meetings with subcontractors to monitor and support the project’s ongoing progression.-Project documentation including preparation, review and analysis of incident and cost control reports -Successful execution of projects by controlling the budget and schedule within project baselines. -Monitored subcontractors and staff performance, investigate and document causes of delays, and recommend corrective actions -Control of quality by ensuring materials and workmanship comply to contract specification and design requirements -Promote safety on site based on company safety programs -Foresee possible issues and execute preventive actions to eliminate or minimize impact to project.-Work with quantity surveyor to verify costs to prior to certifying trades monthly claims-Review of project requirements which includes contract, drawings and specification to define scope of project-Prepared quantity take-off for labor, material and equipment leading as basis for effective cost control-Clarified with project design team using Request for Information (RFI) resulting to a detailed estimate-Receive and distribute additional information to trades, as addenda, for a more reliable quotation-Conduct pre-tender meetings with trades resulting to better understanding of proposals

Projects Back Ground: Various projects involving the use of post-tensioning systems. This includes high-rise industrial, commercial and institutional buildings. Other projects where in the transportation which includes pre-cast beams and segments as well as heavy launching by cantilever method-Supervise the daily operations of the personnel on site.-Perform joint inspections with inspectors or owners representative of work performed-Assign the personnel and equipment to tasks-Solve problems that arise-Report the work progress and expected profit and compare to prelim estimate/ budget-Perform risk management including in-house job safety training and awareness to all personnel; (especially in heavy lifting, rigging and Post-Tension)-Monitor quality standards of all jobs, and ensure that all quality assurance and company standards & project specifications are being met-Participate in coordination meetings with contractors and site engineers & supervisors to review the activities and schedule the work.-Supervise the personnel on the job site including Workers & Supervisors
