About Jonas Ericsson

I write code for fun. Both for work and at home, because I enjoy it. The language does not matter as long it is an interesting problem to solve.I have worked in various fields, positions and languages. It all started around 15-16 years ago when I got my first computer and started hacking QBasic.After a few years I advanced to C++ and staid with it for 7-8 years while I didquite a bit of game programming for fun. And after that I started at studying at university and working, you can read about it more below.The last couple of years has been spent in Shanghai. I went there to work on an important project after realising it could not be developed efficiently with me in Sweden and the rest of the team in Shanghai. It has so far been a great decision and experience. I am now leading around 20 people in a small product at Ericsson. Recently I have also published a couple of open source packages for Python and been studying Haskell as side projects while working in Shanghai. I have always had side projects and always will since software development is a big hobby of mine.
