As the Head of IT at Outspot and a key member of the management team, I lead the development and maintenance of our IT infrastructure. My role involves ensuring robust and scalable systems that bolster our dynamic online marketplace. Managing a team of talented IT professionals, I foster a culture of innovation and efficiency. In my role as Product Owner and Project Manager at Outspot, I was pivotal in guiding the evolution of our eCommerce platform. My duties spanned the entire project lifecycle, from conceptualization to deployment, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives. I led in defining product visions, crafting roadmaps, and prioritizing features to address stakeholder needs while maximizing business impact. My methodology blended agile practices with a strong emphasis on cross-functional collaboration, creating a fertile ground for ideas that translated into significant business outcomes. This role provided the foundation for my promotion to Head of IT, endowing me with comprehensive insights into both the technological and business dimensions of Outspot.

Heverlee, Leuven

During my summer internship at IMEC, I worked on making the process of analyzing optical data more efficient and user-friendly. I updated and improved the computer scripts used to analyze key components in silicon photonics, like fiber grating couplers, light detectors, modulators, and couplers. I also engaged in 3D simulations to better understand how light interacts in curved photonic structures. My work contributed to simplifying complex data analysis in photonic research.
