Always learning, I am a true engineer at heart- curious, driven and focused on solving difficult problems within the software domain. I have spent two decades working with complex embedded software which created my passion for software and software craftsmanship. Through the years I have specified, developed, tested, and lead software development for safety critical airborne systems in-house and in international contexts.It is a challenge for a company to continuously learn, innovate and become more digital. In one of my last roles, I was assigned the task to start a Software Innovation lab from scratch. Setting the vision, ways of working and hiring a new team. Within a year, several new ideas and technologies related to AI and DevOps were evaluated and the innovation lab concept was established and added value.Most recently, I have worked as a Software manager, leading cross-functional agile team evolving their ways of working and implementing Continuous Integration principles, increasing their efficiency. My aim is to be dedicated and transparent manager, taking an active part in my employees’ challenges and always keeping my promises.During a period, I was relocated in US, I had the opportunity to taking professional university classes within several areas (Big Data, Virtualization, DevOps, Machine Learning, Deep learning and AI using Python, Hadoop, PySpark, Vagrant, Puppet, Docker and Bitcoin & Blockchain) and Coursera Professional Certificate (Data Engineering with Google Cloud). I found it very rewarding to be able to deep dive into new technology.The Software industry is constantly evolving and to truly be a craftsman we need to continuously learn and relate to new technology.
