As a Senior Risk Underwriter, In Tryg Guarantee, I am placed in a center of excellence, supporting the entire organization with risk related tasks. Including credit assessments of clients/counter parties, assessment of various bond requests, quarterly reporting on exposure and counter parties.

At Euler Hermes, as a Senior Risk Underwriter, I was in daily contact with clients, assessing their credit limit requests and facilitating the decisions. I was responsible for the so-called World Agency portfolio consisting of the largest international clients. As a separate role I was responsible for our operating program from a local perspective. Meaning I had to understand the underlying mechanisms in the system and facilitate changes, issues etc. to group IT or local users.

As a credit analyst at Ørsted I was responsible for the company´s exposure towards B2B clients relating to the sale of power and gas. As a Credit Analyst at Euler Hermes I was responsible for monitoring more than 40.000 companies in various industries. Through in-depth financial and credit analysis based on financial statements and interviews with CFOs and CEOs , I helped maintain a database of information, enabling our Underwriters to make good credit decisions. My areas of expertise as an analyst was transportation and logistics with a specific focus on bunker trading and shipping and the construction industry in general.

Through an interdisciplinary approach I have developed an understanding of the international environment in which companies operate. During the programme I was tested in qualitative and quantitative research methods combined with knowledge on macroeconomic, political, cultural and financial issues.

An exchange that not only improved my skills in the area of finance in accordance with the 13 different finance subjects I attended during my 7 month stay but also gave me a deeper understanding of the Indian culture and perspective on life. An experience that in every way have developed me as a humanbeing.

Working with kids diagnosed with ADHD, structuring and helping the kids in the everyday activities. Communicating with colleagues and parents trying to resolve the many complications ADHD inflict on a child.
