During my years as managing director we managed to turn around the negative development in sales and earnings for the company. 2010 and 2011 were in terms of results some of the best years in the VINK essåplast history.Major changes in production which resulted in higher productivity, reliability and improved quality were implemented.During this period I still had hands-on leadership for the sales and marketing strategies for the company, with high involvement in business development, new accounts/industries as existing key accounts.

During this period, our turnover increased from 30 to 85 million sek (mainly through organic growth).I was overall responsible for the unit in Gothenburg, but still my main focus was on sales.Over the ten first years (until 2006, when essåplast was acquired by VINK) our profitability in Gothenburg was positive, 10%-13% on a yearly basis.2006-2009 was very tough with several ownership shifts, structural and organisational changes. However, Gothenburg still managed to show positive results (2006-2008) and continued to grow.

In 1996 when we moved to new premises, sales in Gothenburg were about 35 million sek. During that period I had overall responsibility for around 40-45% of our sales to existing customers, at the same time I was the sales rep. acquiring majority of our new sales.

I have been involved in the company from the very start and had a major part in developing the business to where it is today. During the first 10 years we doubled the turnover several times in Gothenburg, while the results were best in class in our industry.
