>Provides analysis and design calculations and reports, detailed design drawings, material and equipment specifications and as-built drawings mainly on Protection Control and Communication works.>Provides cost estimates and construction costs to meet client's bidding requirements, >Liaises with other Design Engineers, Project Management & Engineering and Project Management Office groups regarding project requirements.>Conducts site visits to verify and coordinate with Clients, Subcontractors and Field engineers regarding project concerns.

>Provides Material Take-offs on submitted drawings as well as actual site installation of Electrical Works.>Price/forecast the cost of various electrical materials and equipment needed for the project.>Prepare budgets, bills of quantities and other documentation.>Track changes to the design and/or construction work and adjusting budget projections accordingly.

Duties and Responsibilities:• Prepare cost estimates, Material Take-off’s and budgetary projection.• Responsible to control and monitor project total expenditure including verifying and checking of invoices and claims.• Perform project costing related reporting to the team and management’s review on a monthly basis to ensure that costs are kept within the project budget.• Preparing tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities with the MEP Manager and/or the client.

• Conducts quantity take-off and estimate on the various stages of the project but no limited to Contract Design Estimate; Definitive Office Estimate; and Detailed Bill of Quantities.• Assists in the preparation of realistic, adaptable and accurate cost estimates based on schematic and development design stages of the projects.• Prepares cost studies and cost analysis for the electrical and auxiliary works.• Assists in preparing electrical and auxiliary reports submitted to clients, including but not limited to, project initial design and cost budgets, bid recommendation report and variation order evaluation.• Assists in the preparation of electrical and auxiliary bid packages and other bid documents needed in the bidding process.

• Coordinates with TSD/Operation Group the preparation of requirements prior to work commencement to satisfy Activity Submittal Process (WAS).• Performs Quality audit to ensure compliance to Quality Control Processes and Procedures (WAS, WIP, WAC).• Prepares Construction Quality Daily Report (CQDR).• Discuss with Operations Group the Field Observation Report (FOR) and the issuance on Non Conformance Notices (NCN).

• Supervises all related work activities and assigned tasks being done on site based on submitted and approved work sequence and methodology.• Checks work design and technical specifications if implemented correctly on site.• Coordinates and monitors subcontractor works on proper execution and compliance to quality plan.• Coordinates the requisition, issuances and the timely delivery of required materials on site.• Ensures that all materials to be installed comply with the approved submittals and tests.

• To prepare Engineering Instruction coming from Nidec Japan and customer for product improvement, new model introduction, sample build and other evaluation report as it requires.• To review Engineering Drawing coming from Nidec Japan and customer pertaining to changed in design for sample build production and mass production implementation.• Responsible for new sample build monitoring for FDB (Fluid Dynamic Motor) at Blank & Final Machining process.• Conduct drawing review for the changes or similarity of new sample request with regards to previous sample order.
