In this role I managed the Front Arena Trading University, a virtual training organization delivering courses to customers and colleagues. The work included e.g; identifying and responding to internal training needs, managing the Trading University website, direct contact with sales and customers to create custom and scheduled customer trainings, creation of online training material, invoicing and more.I also worked on several business development projects driving the SunGard Front Arena consulting business forward. In one of the projects I developed and launched the new training portal called Trading University. This work involved everything from looking into current needs, interviewing colleagues and customers to setting up and designing a new web portal including design and coding html in the Content Management System SiteCore. The challenge is to meet the needs of a growing business with an increasing need for training of colleagues in many different locations. We face on-boarding, off-shoring, knowledge transfer between different groups and departments to mention just a few things. We have used two different Learning Management Systems, Cornerstone and Skillport. My role spans from project management and investigating internal needs to creating content in the LMS and creating campaigns for promoting the usage of the system. As a University Partner Liaison I help partner universities integrate our software into the education they offer their students. Offering our software as a link between reality and theory gives the students a unique opportunity to better understand the high demands on a modern financial application. Partner universities are KTH, Uppsala University, Mälardalens högskola and others.

As a senior consultant I work both as technical specialist on Front Arena and as a project manager in customer projects helping our customers take advantage of all Front Arena functionality. Some of the "tools"​ used in this work are XML, XSLT, Python, Front Arena proprietary languages etc. The project manager role includes both FIS to customer as well as customer internal communications, finding the right resources on both sides, managing expectations (also on both sides!) and more. The ultimate goal is always to take new functionality live at the customer within project time limits.
