As Vice President Logistics of Ekonomika, the official student body of the Faculty of Economics and Business of the University of Leuven, I co-manage one of the largest Belgian student unions. Our core value is Utile Dulci, which translates to linking the pleasant to the useful. Driven by this value our Executive Committee of 16 students strives to guide our students towards a successful career launch by providing them with opportunities to develop their skills (workshops, Leuven Case Competition, lectures…), match them to the right company (Career Brunches, Conversation Fair, Interview Days…). In addition to their professional journey we provide them with unique experiences for a memorable student period.My responsibilities the following year:• Operational lead of large-scale events (Ekonomika Galabal, Career Brunch II,…)• Provide logistical and operational support on 150+ events anually• Manage organisation resources to assure internal smooth running• Lead the Logistics committee, existing of 7 motivated students

As part of an ambitious team of 16 students, I had the opportunity to co-organise Ekonomika Kiesweek in Leuven, considered as the largest student (organised) event in Belgium with 17.500 participants, +50 marketing partners (e.g. PepsiCo, Red Bull, Unilever, StepStone, Diageo, AB-Inbev ...) and national media coverage (e.g. VRT NWS, Het Nieuwsblad, Het Laatste Nieuws ...). Because of the COVID-19 crisis, we had to cancel the physical event last minute. But we came up with a digital edition, which was a true success.Overall: Teamwork - Adaptability -Project Management - Crisis Management - Innovation - Forward Thinking
