As the CFO of SimFAS I am accountable for the financial operations, both the external and internal reporting of the company, and responsible for the short and long-term financial strategies.Being part of the management team, my task is to provide financial insights that serves as a base for informed decision making. Also providing insights of the company’s financial performance to Karnell Group, the owners of SimFAS.As head of the finance team, I am ensuring financial compliance and high data quality. Enabling continuous improvements of structure and ways of working are natural parts of the role.

Business Planning & Controlling at Perstorp Group.In the role as Business Controller at Perstorp Group, I was the overall responsible for fixed costs within the group. This included coordinating rolling forecasts, analyzing actual vs forecasted numbers, training and supporting all group functions. I was also a driver of continues improvements and ensured consistent handling of the processes throughout the group.Supported the Sales & Business Management group function with financial insights for both Business Areas and Sales Regions.I consolidated an overview of the open order status at group level, which was sent to the Executive Leadership Team once a week and the Board of Directors once a month.Being part of the continuous improvements within the Business Planning & Controlling team was also a natural part of the role.

Corporate Accounting at Perstorp Group.As the Accounting Manager for Perstorp Oxo AB, I was responsible for the monthly, quarterly and yearly reporting (K3 and IFRS) as well as conducting the Annual Reports.Perstorp Oxo AB is located at site Stenungsund, Sweden and is one of the groups producing companies with a yearly turnover of ~ 4 500 MSEK. A close collaboration with the local Site Controllers was vital and discussions where frequently held regarding the financial reporting as well as budgeting and forecasting.In this role, I was also responsible for the global SAP masterdata for Corporate Accounting, resulting in a frequent dialog with the groups ERP team. I was part of the development of the Shared Service Center EMEA Liquidity Forecast.Being part of the continuous improvement processes at the SSC EMEA was a natural part of the role.

Corporate Accounting at Perstorp Group.In this role, I was creating Liquidity Forecasts for the six Swedish group companies and the UK based company. Weekly follow-ups of the group cash flow were conducted, analyzed and sent to the group’s Treasury department.I was a part of the payment process for the group companies based in Sweden and the UK, through execution of payment proposals.Prepared and analyzed some accounting records and financial statements to assess completeness and accuracy of reporting. Handled VAT and tax issues, ensured compliance of requirements and reporting to SKV.

Accounts Payable, Transaction Service EMEA, Corporate Accounting at Perstorp Group.Accounting Assistant summers of 2013 to 2017, part-time efforts fall of 2014 and 2016 as well as spring of 2017.During my time at the Accounts Payable, I have learned the daily routines of the Accounting Services, how different assignments are executed, and the importance of these actions. The different tasks performed have taught me how to navigate in numerous accounting systems. Close collaboration with colleagues at the Accounts Receivable, the Cash Office and other parts of the organization have taught me teamwork and flexibility.I verified invoices and handled the payment proposals which provided an understanding of the daily processes in Accounting Services and its different accounting systems, such as ReadSoft and SAP. Supplier contact through e-mail and phone on a daily basis, as well as frequent use of Excel.
