About Jonas Bergh
My career started at the law firm of Lagerlöf & Leman (now Linklaters) where I became a partner. However, entrepreneurship has always appealed to me and in 1999 I started on my own with AJB Bergh law firm. It was an incredibly enjoyable and educational experience. The company grew rapidly to 30 people and in 2007 it was acquired by Ashurst, one of the largest law firms in the UK. After a few years as a partner at Ashurst, it was time again - in 2010 I started Berghco law firm.I have always savored the opportunity to help people and it has probably influenced my approach towards both customers and employees. I enjoy coaching and leading younger associates. I am absolutely convinced that most people can accomplish great things, provided they get the right support. My clients often mention that they appreciate my creative side - I am triggered by problem solving and finding new ways to tackle a situation. Our customers should always get the maximum return from our work. I really want it to go well for those who I work with.Heading off to work should always be a joy. If our employees are happy and thriving, then so are our customers! A successful business is built by content people who are doing their very best to help customers succeed.I am also a board member in a number of companies, and this has, along with my vast experience of the legal profession, made me knowledgeable about how company managements and boards operate both in private and listed companies; exploits which I have had much use of in my work.I have a keen interest in classical music, art and travel. I believe it strengthens my creativity and ability to see things from different perspectives. Each morning, I also take a long walk with Dandy, our beloved Labrador. Those walks allow me a daily opportunity to reflect and think upon matters, be it professional or otherwise.
