I was responsible for the strategy, delivery and management of state-of-the-art IT solutions to wrangle data, provide analytical insights and personalize the individual customer interactions across the organization. I oversaw a large team in two countries of professionals applying Agile development methods in several DevOps teams to continuously increase our ability to explore and exploit data in real time. The last challenge was bringing the data science system into public cloud driven analytics.

Over a period of 5 years, I have been managing a continuously growing team scope. In 2013-2014 I started with a small team driving the offshore application maintenance and development. This covered amongst others managing the range of finances, demand/supply balancing, service and quality levels within the contractual agreements. At the same time we set up the secure code review activities to minimize the risk of our web facing applications.Afterwards I engaged on a Technical Lifecycle Management journey, managing the delivery of 15MEUR per annum of migration activities, to bring the ING Belgium application landscape in a secured and supported state. This ensures the systematic upgrade of all application components, in a cost effective manner across the different internal business partners.During the last 2 years as a Team Manager, I was accountable for a scope of 50+ FTEs working on the development and maintenance of Analytical platforms.

Managing several projects in Operational Excellence following Lean Six Sigma, setting up and chairing a cross departmental improvement platform with the focus on ITIL Incident and Problem management. Coordinating the knowledge transition of existing resources to newly sourced technical analysts.
