Sailing sabbatical with my family and our three children. Left Sweden in June 2021 and sailed along to the European Atlantic Coast to the Canary Islands. Crossed the Atlantic the first time in November 2021 and stayed in the Caribbean for 5 months. In May 2022 we crossed the Atlantic the second time before we continued north from the Azores. Returned back to Stockholm in August 2022.The trip was a childhood dream that I was able to fulfill. The whole project included both long term planning and project management on a different kind of personal level. CIO / Head of IT at Dagens Industri which is the largest financial newspaper in the Nordic region and runs Swedens by far most visited financial website.

In Jan 2010 I received a dual role as the senior IT manager within adidas Group Market Nordic. This role is similar to a CIO for the Market Nordic that includes the full IT responsibility within IT for Market Nordic.

Due to a reorganizations within adidas Group where Area Nordic, Area East and Area West where consolidated to Area Central I got the opportunity to lead the IT infrastructure teams for 15 countries in Market Nordic (Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland, Iceland, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania) Market East (Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary) and Market Central (Austria, Switzerland, Slovenia)The IT infrastructure team consisted of 14 direct reports spread over seven countries with the responsibility of IT support and IT operations for 800 users.

My work consisted of leading the daily work of the IT infrastructure team (six direct reports) in Nordic that was responsible for the IT infrastructure in Area Nordic. This included the IT support and IT operations of 300 users at both offices, showrooms and own retail stores in eight countries (Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland, Iceland, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania)

As Infrastructure Manager I was responsible for managing IT infrastructure projects and implementing new IT infrastructure strategies within Preem Petroleum AB. The daily work consisted of managing and implementing projects before handing completed projects or strategies over to the IT Operations or IT Support teams.One of the projects I was responsible for was a consolidation and migration project of +300 servers that was consolidated using Virtual, SAN and blade technology to 70 logical servers and also a migration to Windows 2003 on all servers.

Manager for the IT Operations team that consisted of three direct reports at Preem Petroleum AB. I got the opportunity to create and build an IT Operations team that was responsibility for 700 network nodes and 300 Windows servers before consolidation.
