So why did I pivot to cybersecurity?The reason I have been obsessing over technology—for the past decade—always comes back to one thing: helping others.- At Apple, it was showcasing the simplicity of iPhone setup and guiding someone's first steps in iOS.- At Verizon, it was connecting families from across the world for the first time though video calling.- At Tesla, it was helping new parents discover peace of mind through Dog Mode and Sentry Mode.I am obsessed with finding and presenting solutions to difficult problems. - Pattern recognition, trend analysis, PivotTables.- Finding the tools and developing the knowledge to recognize a problem and solve it, whether it is a person, software, or a wrench.- Reducing headaches for everyone, including myself, has become a top priority and skill at my previous workplaces.I am a workhorse when it comes to finding and compiling actionable information.- New updates and changes never escape my attention.- I am the first to compile a OneNote or find sources.- This includes company announcements, nightly patches, and impromptu promotions. I work well within companies that encompasses most, if not all, of these principles:- Provide a service that connects and protects.- Strive for excellence, own up to failure.- Leave the world better than we found it.I want to make a difference beyond just pushing sales and answering emails; I have a dream of helping people on a larger scale and to fulfill this lingering ache to make a positive difference in the world. I want to be a protector, a tech geek, and a chronic document generator.That's why I decided to tackle cyber.
