Biologist, master in Zoology, and PhD in Environmental Oceanography. Current President of the Meros Institute of Brazil. He works as Executive Manager and Coordinator/Researcher at the Meros do Brasil Project. He was founder and researcher at the Aquaculture and Aquariology Research Institute. He was founder and managing partner of the company Neotropical Aquicultura Ornamental. He has experience in managing third sector institutions and managing socio-environmental projects. As a researcher, he has experience and publications with marine fish ecology and reproduction and marine aquaculture. Working mainly with marine conservation, ecology and reef ichthyology, reproductive biology of marine fish and aquaculture.
