-Going to DigitalRoute was going back to my roots. Many of my project collegues from Ericsson in -95/96 (see Parallel Systems below) had already joined the company.I work with our only product MediationZone®. The workflow kernel is where I spend most of my time. I also have an overall role for maintaining and improving the performance of the product.I give classes to our clients on how to use our Toolkit. Teaching can be rewarding, but I fear standing up and talking to a larger audience so every class is a challenge...

-In September 1999, Parallel Consulting Group AB accepted an offer from Icon Medialab AB, and became part of a large Internet consulting group.At Icon, I continued in my role as Internet Architect Consultant, and internally as Expert/Technical Mentor.Apart from building new exciting webservices for our clients, I also acted as sponsor for a Master Thesis. This was a new and reviving experience. I never had the desire to teach or in any way give classes, but it can actually be quite rewarding.

-Parallel Systems kept growing, changed name to Parallel Consulting, and created 3 subsidaries; Parallel Systems, Parallel Integration, and Parallel Strategy.I stayed in Systems and kept developing the Expert role. By now we were quite a number of Experts.During this time (March -99), a number of collegues and I successfully launched the largest Internet bank in Sweden. Now there is another ego boost. It took us 9 months. It remained in production until New Year -05/06. Almost 7 years is a long time for Internet Business Software!

-Consultancy firm that has a vision of developing its own Mediation product. As I already had a full time consultancy job with Parallel, I did mostly administrative duties in SolveTel.In 2000, SolveTel became Digital Route AB, which I later rejoined as a regular employee.

-My career as Internet Consultant started day one at Parallel, or PSS as we called it back in those days. The first clients were Linköpings universitet (Technical calculations) and Ericsson (Billing Mediation). But not until 1995 did we start to create webservices targeted at a public audience.Then the snowball effect: one webservice lead to another bigger one. Torget, Dagens Industri, Fritidsresor, Föreningssparbanken (Swedbank). For each one we used a new technology, and as everyone at Parallel were eager to learn new stuff, we were always very successful in implementing services which outperformed the customers' expectations.In late 1996, I took a role as Expert internally. This was a kind of technical mentorship for our new consultants. I never liked teaching and I am kind of quiet, but this was a boost to me techie ego!In 1997, I became a share holder of Parallel.
