Today I work across cultural organisations and incubation projects with strategy, organisational and policy development to create a better work-life and entrepreneurial environment for the cultural sector. In harmony with efforts within city development, creative entrepreneurship strategies and anywhere else where culture can play a bigger role. But it all began (once upon a time) with organising benefit concerts in Copenhagen, took a detour across NGOs, post-conflict zones internationally and different entrepreneurship projects abroad before landing in the creative food scene of Amsterdam and Copenhagen. Just one small aspect of the cultural world that provides us all with inspiration, conversations and meaning - no matter where you are in the world. I've since started "Villa Kultur", a Copenhagen-based platform for cultural entrepreneurship and an art venue (in all shapes and sizes) and "Kulturens Selvstændige", a think tank and network for the independent cultural creators and entrepreneurs. On behalf of these organisations I also work as a strategic and organisational advisor for "Kulturhusene i Denmark" (the national organisation for cultural centres) and PLADS23, a local cultural house in a newly developed urban area.
