Business It Analyst
Deliverables were modest due to the short stay at Scania Financial Services IT-group. Beside daily operation(s), coordination(s) and participating in meetings a proposal for future management of the global credit rating system was delivered and presented on my behalf. This proposal included estimation of cost, resources and time. Identifying the gap between operational and strategic IT discussion I initiated an IT forum on management level for covering this gap. Work to secure GCRM Korea integration due to Korea regulatory requirements The intention was of course to stay and develop within Scania organization but I got the opportunity to come back to medical IT world and to work with true critical, complex and 24/7 system solution(s). Experience is that Scania is an interesting company with impressing production work flow and focus including professional core values. A major highlight was to drive different trucks and busses, especially a 60 ton V8 engine truck trailer.
System Manager
The following is a short summary of my accomplishment at Karolinska.I initiated and was involved in the overhaul of the contracts which rendered a more structured content and a better business alignment as well as a better control of responsibility and obligations for the system in focus. A subset of routines/processes in operations have been developed on my behalf. The later part of employment I focused on medical regulations. As responsible project manager I delivered a full scale fork lift (software, hardware and database upgrade) and software version upgrades, all of them in accordance to agreed time plan and objectives achieved. Later on I took responsibility as teamleader for integration(s) within a companywide consolidation project as well as within a major procurement, both delivered according to time plan. The relationships I initiated and had responsibility for were a customer vendor forum and a regional customer-customer forum. The first rendered a better feedback and follow up in tactical and operational issues and the later focused on exchange of experiences and cooperation. Via the customer-vendor forum, negotiations, issues of disagreements, deviation from contract and roadmaps were a part of the agenda. From a technology point of view, I mainly focused on integrations between the system in focus and other critical local and regional IT-systems. This lead to a profound understanding of medical IT communication and standards as well as many contacts. During my employment I took part in national and international fairs/congresses. The findings were always brought into a report. All in all, the tasked preformed over the years can be summoned into one word, namely maintainability.
Product Manager
Pre- and after sales activities for Image Management System (IMS) within Sweden/Finland. A main responsibility was to transform customer requirements into technical design of IMS including workflow, storage and integrations. The emplyment also included S.W.O.T- and competition analysis as well as education in Germany and USA. Cooperation with third party vendors (i.e Fujitsu Siemens, Veritas, Eizo, EFG) was part of the responsibility.
