I'm involved in the macroeconomic forecasting for the Danish Economy with particular attention to inflation and wage developments.I'm also involved in various ad hoc analyses - ranging from quick one-pagers to the Governors about present economic topics to full-scale economic analyses presented in the quarterly Monetary Review.

I worked with the gathering, construction and analysis of financial statistics.• Balance of payments - Financial account• Foreign direct investments• Foreign portfolio statistics• Securities statisticsI was also involved in various ad hoc analysis and full-scale economic analyses presented in the quarterly Monetary Review.

I contributed to an analysis of the pilot experiment "Hurtigt igang 2". This labour market experiment was designed to identify the most effective ingredients in an early activation scheme for newly unemployed.I also continued work on a project from my PhD-thesis. The goal was to find out whether unemployment dynamics was primarily a result of variations in the employment exit rate or the job finding rate. It turned out, that the latter was more important - the probability of finding a job is key to unemployment dynamics.

I worked as a student assistant for Professor Svend Hylleberg doing various analyses and administrative tasks, i.e. surveys to former graduates and a setup for measuring the scientific and educational production of the Department of Economics and Management.
