In my first assignment for Knowit I was part of the start-up of a project for Inter Ikea Systems, called New IKEA Kitchen planner (NKP). At the end of my assignment, this project developed into a multi-site project with over 80 people involved.As the QA responsible I started off by setting the direction of the test by creating strategies and working with Development Architects implementing DevOps and Test automation. Later, I acted as a coach for Test Leads and Test Engineers. I was also involved with requirements work together with Product Owners and advocated the BDD approach. I had daily interaction with Project Managers, Development Architects, Product Owners, and Business stakeholders by continuously focusing on improvements to test and development processes and methods with the aim of maintaining a path towards increased throughput and delivered quality.During the last phase in the project, I was acting as Integration Test Manager responsible for securing the integrations to other IKEA systems, such as sales and customized work tops systems. The main tasks were coordination of off-site test and development teams in integrating systems, collaboration with suppliers and reporting to business stakeholders.
