Developed a proof of concept for an existing HR application for employees. The MyHR application allows employees to view and request changes to their data. The original application was outdated and non-responsive, making it difficult to use on mobile devices. My task was to redesign the application to be modern and fully responsive, ensuring usability on both desktop and mobile platforms.To achieve this, I simulated all necessary functionalities using Java (via a REST API) and a MySQL Docker container, as I did not have access to their existing HR systems. This allowed me to create a realistic proof of concept that demonstrated improved data storage and processing capabilities.
