As Operations Director at Perrigo, I am responsible for providing strategic leadership direction to the Belgian pharmaceutical manufacturing facility.In this role, I oversee all operations within the production and packaging facility, including production, packaging, warehouse, procurement, planning, safety, engineering, and maintenance. I am also functionally responsible for all other functions of the site, including quality, finance, and HR, and act as a steering member of the site's leadership team.One of my key contributions in this role is to lead a safety culture at all levels of the organization through coaching, Gemba walks, and visual KPIs. I also play a vital role in improving processes and evaluating equipment through collaboration with managers, engineers, supervisors, production support staff, and other departments or other production sites.In addition, I’m developing staffing and cost proposals, monitoring and controlling costs and productivity throughout the year, and ensuring compliance with company policies and SOPs while addressing performance-related issues appropriately. Furthermore, I’m directing engineering and maintenance resources to execute capital projects, drive Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), and maintain cGMP standards.As a member of the site’s leadership team and the international operations leadership team, I hold regular interactions with our vice president of operations, key stakeholders and central functions to ensure timely project deliverables and full alignment on site priorities.
