I co-founded Tuckerman & Co which makes high-quality workwear out of more sustainable materials. We launched with a successful Kickstarter campaign in 2014 and have been growing rapidly since launch. Our first product line is a collection of men's dress shirts made from organic cotton, Italian fabric, and manufactured at a historic shirt factory in Fall River, Massachusetts. Tuckerman has been certified as a B-Corporation for its commitment to sound social and environmental practices.

I continue to work on my family's business -- The Spinoza Rod Company -- which makes premium bamboo fly rods and fine fly fishing tackle. I've worked on all aspects of the business for many years but since 2009 have focused primarily on web development and marketing.

I was part of the founding team at the Nelson Center for Entrepreneurship at Brown University, which serves as a the central hub for Entrepreneurship on campus and beyond. While there I worked with Brown students, faculty, and alums to develop ventures that have "impact at scale". I advised hundreds of teams from the very earliest stages -- often pre-idea -- all the way through to fundraising and scaling. These teams have spanned a wide range of sectors and I have worked with them on everything from customer discovery, product development, intellectual property, fundraising, customer acquisition, and everything in between. It was a real privilege to work with such diverse, motivated, and purposeful entrepreneurs!I also taught a course I developed, Engineering 1931T - The Entrepreneurship Practicum, which serves as the capstone course for students doing the Entrepreneurship Certificate at Brown.

One of five post-graduate fellows selected by the Yale School of Management for their work on promising ventures. The fellowship provides two years of support for founders to scale and grow their companies.

As Resident Dean I was responsible for a quarter of the freshman class (~435 students) during their first year at Harvard. I love working with students from diverse backgrounds and helping them pursue things they’re interested in. In addition to my direct work with students and their proctors I also chair a working group on moral and ethical development out of the Freshman Dean’s Office and serve in a number of other capacities around the college, including: • Faculty Standing Committee on Athletics• Faculty Standing Committee on Public Service• Administrative Board• College Life & Leadership Committee• Resident Dean’s Advisory Committee• Board of Freshman Advisors
