I was accountable for the following research techniques to identify friction points within their current layout: Interviews, surveys, and card sorting. My design responsibilities included wireframing in Figma, UI design for key employees, employee statistics, and the latest news sections. Along with animating interactions in Principle.Vigilant Assist - Partnered with 2 UX designers to find a digital solution to enhance their product selection of Personal Emergency Response Systems. Designed an SMS text message system MVP to test our hypothesis that the current communication flow from call centers to caregivers failed due to the heuristic visibility of systems not being met. I was responsible for the following: surveys, interviews, and user flows. Omnivore Books - Created new user flows and reorganized the information architecture to reduce friction in the search process for the eCommerce site. Wireframed new layouts using Sketch and built clickable prototypes with Invision studios.

Managed the day-to-day activities for KL Keller Foodways:- Executed a custom projected from beginning to end, netting an additional $14,000. Tasks included: label designing, sourcing international products, and setting production schedules to meet their 3-month deadline.- Responsible for the production schedule of all 26 KL Keller Foodways products along with the procurement of 100+ raw materials needed.- Managed all supply chain functions regarding KL Keller Foodways’ 18 international suppliers from purchasing, logistics, warehousing, and inventory management for over 50 international products.- Coordinated all domestic small parcels and LTL shipments to meet customers' required delivery schedules.- Managed trade show operations: inventory, logistics, and the creation of marketing materials for all KL Keller products.- Forecasted sales projections to ensure adequate inventory is on hand and inventory levels do not drop below re-order points.- Analyzed the cost of goods sold to appropriately price new products at target gross margin.- Created sales and inventory reports aiding the sales team.- Oversaw account payable and account receivables duties.- Assisted on interpreting and completing contracts with National Food Distributors

Being a part of a small team at KL Keller Foodways, a specialty foods importer, has allowed me to grow my position from data entry to sales, marketing, and operations. These responsibilities all intertwine to contribute to my main goal of sharing the stories behind the making of our small-batch Spanish and French products and the artisan farmers who create them. Whether I’m crafting newsletters and blogs on how to use our products or sharing a video on social media of a Basque grandmother making Cherry Confit 100 jars at a time, I continually strive to promote our products through great storytelling.In addition, I’m in charge of getting our booth ready for the Winter Fancy Food Show, the largest specialty food show in the west coast. My main responsibilities involve managing our trade show inventory, coordinating our marketing materials, and arranging the freight.When I’m not partaking in marketing or operations, I’m working on sales. I help develop and sustain relationships with potential and existing clients by making outbound sales calls, carrying out product demos, and providing administrative support to solve any problems our customers may face. I’m also the go-to guy for analyzing all of our sales data and generating month-end reports to support our team.
