I dedicate time cultivating a variety of different skills and interests as a way to build up a powerful set of tools for approaching problems. From research methodology to technical writing, from software architecture to concrete implementation, from initial design to high-quality and beautiful web experiences, I love finding the best path to go from idea to execution.With a decade of research experience and half a decade of instructional experience, I have learned the value of taking the right initial steps to plan out a project before getting my hands dirty.As a freelance web developer, I treat the internet like a digital sandbox. With frameworks like Vue and Nuxt, I can take a blank web domain and turn it into a responsive, rock-solid client- or audience-facing platform. I am highly proficient with HTML5, (S)CSS, and Node-based web development.I am also extremely proficient with Python, a language that I have used as my daily driver in both academic and hobby projects. In my research, I use Python to model natural language and run experiments using libraries like NumPy and the Natural Language Tool Kit (NTLK). As a game developer, I use Python to build my own games and class libraries. Recently, I am branching into C# and Unity to get a better handle on engine-based development.
