As Vice President of Clinical Operations I responsible for the leadership, oversight and execution of clinical testing implementation, clinical trials, and lab to lab testing. • Serve as the Operational Laboratory lead for both Unipath and Cedar Diagnostics Denver laboratories, implementing and providing complete laboratory solutions for both Anatomic and Clinical laboratory offerings. • Focus on delivering value-add solutions that help deliver high-quality laboratory services and cost-effective healthcare solutions for the community while growing business and development sustainability.• Work to deliver solutions in pre-analytic and post-analytic, Phlebotomy, Clinical Chemistry, Hematology, Coagulation, Microbiology, Molecular Biology, Flo Cytometry, IHC, Histology, Grossing, and Cytology screening. Notable achievements while in the position have included:- Integrated core laboratory sections into the esoteric laboratory for a “one-stop-shop” laboratory business model through the integration of the Cedar Diagnostics acquisition. - Led the COVID-19 implementation of fast, accurate testing to the client and the community and the COVID-19 business continuity plan for growth and success for employees and investors.

• Directed the production for all areas of Molecular and Flow cytometry and hematology services in the organization.• Performed accurate quality control monitoring of diagnostic tests, overseeing the preparation of technical procedures, training manuals and plans, and the design and implementation of a new custom LIS.• Serve as the CAP and New York Department of Health coordinator, maintaining records and overseeing proficiency testing, alternate assessment, employee competence, quality assurance, and quality improvement in line with quality, safety, and regulatory standards.• Coordinated all workload and staffing for all shifts, including both production and development personnel.• Oversaw the development and maintenance of technical worksheets for daily workflow across molecular shifts and the transition of new tests from the development team to production. • Led new hire orientation and annual performance evaluations for staff.• Added valued input while participating in budget preparation, cost analysis, and workload management, oversaw the budget for 3 areas of Molecular Production, Molecular Development, and Flow/Hematology, and forecasted and created business models for budgets and staffing purposes.Notable achievements while in the position included:- Worked in collaboration with software designers to create a state-of-the-art molecular-specific LIS system that created efficiencies and technological advancements to better support product and clinical offerings. - Drove an operational cost reduction of 12.8% per test.- Managed department budgeting and operations that had generated $2M in billable tests.- Selected to serve as the Molecular Director for enterprise-wide initiatives as required. - Led a successful project to decentralize molecular testing, building a functional molecular lab in Florida with FDA approved testing, 2 different molecular platforms, and 5 approved tests, which offered better service to clients.

• Managed a service-oriented, medical production laboratory and the development of the company’s molecular offerings, including 3 department budgets.• Led 14 high performing employees through a committed approach to staff training and development within a department working 7 days a week. • Oversaw quality laboratory testing completed in compliance with the College of American Pathology, OSHA safety, and CLIA regulations.• Performed accurate quality-controlled diagnostic testing, analyzing and recording the results and calibrating and maintaining the equipment used.• Provided evidence and financial justification for corporate approval, coordinated with 7 departments in the training and installation, and annual budgeting for maintenance and support. Notable achievements while in the position included:- Oversaw 3 department budgets with revenue valued at $12M+, implementing strategy that drove 50% year-over-year growth. - Served as the project manager for the successful implementation of a temperature and environmental monitoring system, provided evidence and financial justification for corporate approval, coordinated with 7 departments in the training and installation, and led annual budgeting for maintenance and support.

• Oversaw all aspects of production in a new molecular lab testing clinical samples while obtaining valued experience writing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to be compliant with College of American Pathology regulations. • Assisted in the validations of procedures and equipment to be compliant with defined regulations.• Ran PCR testing for infectious diseases in women’s health and implemented development assays into production consisting of LIS, IT issues, workflow, and reporting. Notable achievements while in the position included:- Developed more efficiency, leaner workflow to help work processes in the lab while reducing contamination. - Served as the project manager for the successful implementation of a corporate-wide bar-coding system.- Led an initiative that pursued the technological advance from hand labeling to a printed barcode system to support growth and patient safety, coordinating with remote labs and 15+ different department sections.- Successfully obtained capital equipment, custom dye cutes of labels, and validations with multiple laboratory systems.
