Ran Finite Element Analysis (FEA) in Solidworks Simulation to determine stresses caused by subsea pressure. Worked with material suppliers, machine shops, paint shops, and testing facilities to ensure product delivery in accordance with the customers requirements and schedule. Developed a Remote Operated Vehicle (ROV)/Diver Activated Switch. The switch was designed for use at depths of up to 6,000 meters and includes an API compliant handle. Project lead on the construction and design of a Pressure Test Facility. Worked with architects, structural engineers, and construction crews to create this new facility. The major difficulty of this project was the placement of a new pressure test tank. This tank has a 24 inch internal diameter by 10 feet long and weighs 37,000 lbs not including the end caps. The tank was lifted into the building and then a second story was built on top of the tank in order to fully enclose it. Designed and installed high pressure plumbing to achieve the 15,250 PSI rating of the test tank. The 17,000 KSI acceptance test was completed on 4 September 2015.
