Conducted raw material impact assessments on J&J formulas to determine any potential impact to formula stability and aesthetics by preparing lab scale batches of currently marketed formulas. Conducted Accelerated Laboratory Stability studies on batches to observe any variance throughout product shelf-life. Coordinated with internal and third party manufacturing facilities for material implementations and raw material transition, scheduling of pilot batches, and batch card approvals. Ensured all raw material and formula changes were captured properly in J&J’s internal specification and formulation systems. Coordinated with several manufacturing sites for coordination on material inventory and transition, scheduling and coordinating pilot scale batches needed for developmental Stability, and approvals of changes to batch cards and manufacturing work instructions based on the scope of the individual qualification.Worked in a wet laboratory, making several laboratory batches of currently marketed formulas with the proposed raw material, and a control lab batch for comparison. Submitted lab batch samples to informal laboratory stability. Samples were tested against the finished product specification and requirements for appearance, odor, pH and viscosity. Experience working in a laboratory environment with several Analytical scales, low & high shear lab impellers, handheld and stationary pH meters, Brookfield viscometers, and greerco homogenizers. Documented all lab batches in lab notebook under GDP guidelines.Ensured raw material changes were captured properly in J&J's internal systems under GDP Technical Writing requirements. Updated all raw material and formula changes on all specifications within internal J&J systems.
