Spend: ~ 200 MDD Direct reports: 25 persons (Direct & Indirect Materials, SQA, SQP)Main responsibilities:* Manage the purchasing for direct and indirect materials, as well as CAPEX investments, and tooling for 4 plants of GKN Driveline in Mexico. * Lead the supplier quality, cost and delivery (QCD) issues in Business Unit in accordance with the Cluster and Division Purchasing standards, policies and procedures.* Assist in managing assigned activities of new program launches for the Business Unit to guarantee QCD target achievement.Key Achievements:* Reorganization of the entire Mexico team to have a Purchasing Leader by plant to improve the service.* Non direct material consolidation as a global project.* Development of painting suppliers in Mexico for all the shafts (powder coating, e-coat).* Development of tubes local suppliers for the sideshafts and propshafts.

Direct report: 7 persons (Direct & Indirect Materials)Main responsibilities:* Negotiate the purchasing of primary aluminum, scrap, and flat products, such as aluminum sheets, plates, coils, and foil in the local and global market, always looking for the best purchasing conditions (price, quality, service).* Manage the indirect material and CAPEX purchasing.Key Achievements:* Development of China market for semi-finished products.* Consolidation of the non-material catalog to improve the prices.* Negotiation of the lift trucks for a consolidate contract for all the Almexa plants to improve the leasing cost.

Spend: ~ 155 MDD Direct reports: - Main responsibilities:* Yearly aluminum purchasing strategy for seven manufacturing plants* Purchasing representative in the projects team from acquisition phase until SOP.* Cost reduction programs for BUs products after SOP.* Close cooperation with the board in the development of commodity strategies.* Development and manage suppliers through “Suppliers development department” to ensure an high performance;* Commodity manager for other products, such as: Stamping (US$12.2 M in 2015); Alloying elements; Sand; Other metals for the assembly plant.* Sale of aluminum residues (turnings, dross, flash, etc).Key Achievements:* US$6 MDD of savings (2011 – 2016)* Supplier relocalization 2011 70% importation, 30 % local – 2016 30% importation, 70% local.

* Start, execute and finalize major Bombardier Projects, such as: Montreal, Kuala Lumpur, Chicago; Toronto and Services;* Coordinate of all communications and activities related to contractual deliverables and corrective actions and/or mitigation plans between Bombardier and Raw Material suppliers;* Create sourcing strategies with steel mills and service centers;* Successful Total Cost of Ownership and cost reductions on Raw Material for all Bombardier projects;* Core team member for Toronto LRV project.
