Researching advanced coating application technology for lab scale development.Responsible for installation and troubleshooting of existing application equipment.Performing analytical techniques for characterizing spray atomization of new and existing materials through particle size distribution and pattern mapping.Developing DOE's for systematic approach to understanding process problems and material rheology effects on atomization.

Performed lab-scale exploratory zeolite synthesis as well as further modification of the synthesized zeolite materials by, for example, calcination and ion exchange processes. Analyzed these materials for chemical characterization using various methods, such as X-ray diffraction (XRD), in order to further understand in detail and optimize. In addition, used gas chromatography to conduct catalytic testing with the aim of improving activity and selectivity.

Developed and implemented production procedures and controls, root cause analysis, and physical and optical characterization for materials including glass, polycarbonate, acrylic substrates, thin film conductive and abrasion resistant coatings, and adhesives.

Maintained the plating processing solutions through use of wet analytical (titrations) and instrumental analysis samples. Performed various properties tests on the coatings to ensure compliance with specification requirements. Testing included Salt Spray, Humidity, Wet Tape Adhesion, Thickness, or Coating Weight.
