5 years ago I had set a personal goal to become a successful & sought after Senior Quantity Surveyor, that has now shifted to using my QS and hands on skills to become an effective & dependable Project Manager. After being a Chef for +10 years, then having my 2nd child, I realized I needed a career change. Working for 2 1/2 years at Foley Construction Ltd, I knew the Construction Industry was my calling. I have been able to transfer a lot of my skills and work ethics from the kitchen to the building site. As soon as I received my NZ Residency, I knew it was time to up-skill. Thanks to the opportunity Downer gave me to finish my degree and work on some amazing projects over the past 3 1/2 years, I have now been given the chance to become a Project Manager with Civil+Build.
