The thing I value most is people. As a product manager, I am passionate about human-centred design and understanding the user experience, whether they are a health care provider, a patient, a customer, a business owner.... Listening, understanding and developing empathy. I strive to take a holistic approach to software solutions and I believe that an agile approach to software development enables us to deliver at this level.There is of course the question of how this delivers return on investment, and as an ex-business owner of a community pharmacy, I understand this imperative, and actively consider this whilst advocating for the user. Having said that, my belief is that providing great user experiences within holistic solutions is good business. Businesses should have clear vision and strategy, but I am also a strong advocate for them having a human-centred values framework not just because it is good business but because we are fellow humans.And as such, as a team member, I believe in a collaborative spirit for teams and community. I love sharing and learning, supporting and improving, and delivering as a team.
