As an attorney with the Florida Legislature, Jonathan helped advise lawmakers on the impact of legislative bills for future generations, much like estate planning involves looking years into the future. Later, as a private litigator, he helped clients obtain justice through relentless advocacy before the court. As a result, Jonathan can see, and avoid, more opportunities for disputes when planning.His speaking engagements have included Estate & Trust Legislative Updates (2017-19) before the Charlotte County Bar Association, and the Charlotte Estate Planning Council (2018-20), along with various community associations.Jonathan's undergraduate education focused on finance and real estate. His education, among other things, equips him with an in-depth knowledge of a client's property needs. In law school, Jonathan graduated in the top 10% of his class. He also excelled in research and writing, a key ingredient to the skillful representation of one's legal interests. To that end, one of his articles won a statewide competition and was published in the Florida Bar Journal. In the Master of Laws (LL.M.) program in tax, Jonathan received the highest grade in Tax of Gratuitous Transfers (estate tax, gift tax and generation-skipping transfer tax).
