• Built Cloud Center of Excellence: I started my journey building a Cloud center of excellence and operations team which supported 1000+ engineers and the business as it migrated from legacy DCs to the public cloud and I provide technical input into product life cycles, policies, SOPs.• Built Cloud Platform Services: I designed, built and operated cloud platform services providing global optimizations to the business including account management, a centralized logging service, network orchestration, terraform modules to deploy manageable infrastructure using standardized patterns, TLS certificate management automation, and many tools which automated previously manual processes, enabling a small team to provide large scale support to the business.• Technical Leadership: I am technical leader to a team of platform engineers, turning business needs into engineering requirements and individual stories to be completed. I run cloud office hours where engineers from across the organization can participate to seek advice on best practices and help unblock them on technical or design challenges.• Cloud Adoption Evangelist: I have driven cloud adoption across the org and managed and delivered several migration projects. • Leadership: In this role I was responsible for management and uptime of a hosted ITSM SaaS application and was technical lead for a small team of system admins and developers supporting the service.• Results Oriented: Implemented a change control process which enabled the service to reach 99.99% uptime. Removed all single points of failure, delivered performance and cost improvements.• Compliance: Continual evaluation and improvement of the SaaS environment in line with NIST, CSA:CCM, and ISO 27001/27002 recommendations• Agile Prioritization: Implemented Scrum for work management to encourage the business to prioritize requirements effectively while enabling the platform administrators to focus on what would provide the most value to the business.• Cloud Migration: Built a reference architecture for the service and performed two data center migrations, managing the movement of hundreds of customer instances, their data, and supporting network infrastructure.• Accolades: Received the BMC Corporate Recognition Award for outstanding contribution to the business.
